We're still in Wales waiting to go to Diomede. The "blizzard" is happening and while it's not THAT bad, it took out the long distance, cable, and internet yesterday forcing us to have to find other things to do than chatting, Googling, and MySpacing.
In the spirit of the Renaissance, what are the things you did yesterday that felt good - the kinds of things we sometimes don't always make time for? (Life Skills 5.03 - Shares values and interests)

Me? I read a few books. The last one I wouldn't have read except that Amanda insisted I read it if I wanted her to read my suggested offering. So I read Witch Girl and it was really good. When the main character landed in Salem and was choosing whether to stay there where she could make a decent life or travel further into the wilderness, I could sense my own wanderlust. No way would I have been content living in a Puritan little town. In fact, nothing in my being finds any desire to live in New England, even though it's beautiful, it's just not the land I love. I also found myself identifying with the Native American kid who knew the trails through the woods and would walk on them at night. This reminded me of how much I loved living in California where I would go out walking in the hills by moonlight.
